  • Extremely disappointed in this facility. I am in from out of town and found a stray dog. I contacted the Barberton Police and they mentioned that this is where they take strays for help. I took the dog there- he was chipped (they weren't able to give out any contact info) and because he was in good health...there was nothing they could do. IM OUT OF TOWN. I can do nothing more for this dog. It's Saturday, shelters are closed, no one can take him in. SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR LACK OF EMPATHY. Don't worry- I would never leave a dog abandoned, as you would and have, so I will make sure he is taken care of appropriately. Perhaps if I had a CONTRACT with you like the dog warden likely has, you'd be more willing to help the helpless.
