| - Whenever I visit Vegas, I always ended up at T&T Ginseng one way or another. It was either mom was tagging along, or I have to pick something up for her here. If you have Asian parents that are into traditional cooking, then this place is a pilgrimage for them. I believe they are the only one I have seen in Vegas so far. They are in the original Vegas Chinatown strip mall, probably one of the two places I would visit here, other being the 99 Ranch market.
Throughout the store, they have various dried goods, mostly are tea and dried seafood, which commonly used in traditional Chinese home cooking. Prices varies on the quality, like dried fish belly for example can varies by tenfold depending on the origin.
If you visited a Chinese doctor, chances are they will write you a Chinese presubscription, and they are pretty flexible on rules unlike most western pharmacy stores. They have a wall of medicine herb drawers behind the counter like a traditional Chinese herbal store. If you know what you need like a family prescription on miracle treatment, they can pack it up for you too if you have a list of all the herbs and quantity. Staffs are just like most Asian stores, and you get the same indifferent treatment.
