  • In a nutshell, I will never purchase anything from this store again. Everyone in the store was nice and helpful but it goes down from there. I bought a couch, a coffee table, a counter top, and two stools. The couch and coffee table were delivered within a week but the custom counter top (table) and two stools have not been delivered after 8 weeks. Sure, custom-made table and chairs take time but nothing after 8 weeks? And I am not talking about a complicated design here, it is literally a rectangular block with four legs for the table and same for the stools. I have been in touch with different people from the company and I have gotten different responses and not consistent with each other (see below). I have guests coming and I could not risk if Design Republic will come through or not so I bought another dining set from another company. May 10 - Ann said that my coffee table is ready to be picked up from the warehouse. The coffee table was already delivered on May 4th. So, I would assume she is talking about the counter top. June 2: Jon said "Hi Jeremy, we're in the final stage of production, just waiting on the finish to be applied to the metal stool bases. They could be doing it as we speak. Apologies for the delay, shouldn't be much longer." June 16: Chrisitne said "your Counter Base will be ready next wk and your Counter stool will be ready in 2 wks"
