Having read glowing reviews of this restaurant on The Globe and Mail and The Toronto Star, I was looking forward to some delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine. While the dishes are Indonesian 'inspired' I am sad to say I was disappointed on the authenticity front. The fare was certainly adjusted to accommodate western taste and the clientele of the neighborhood. Food portions are very small. See the photo attached to this post. Each of them is a main course.
Service was quick and good. Nice interior. Hard to get reservation.... But they seem to accommodate walk ins as well. Weird smell of chlorine that whiffs to your nose at times... Not sure what the source of the smell is.
