  • Stay away from Town Center dental on Del Webb!! (Not to be confused with Montecito Town Center Dental on Durango). Yes they are super nice and friendly but that is a front. They are total rip-off artists. I had moved and needed a new dentist and went there for a check up and they said I needed thousands of dollars of work to do a crown. I thought this was odd because I always had very few cavities and last check up 6 months ago at another dentist I had no cavity so now why did I suddenly need a crown or inlay? So I went to another local dentist for a second opinion (having to pay out of my pocket for it) and I didn't tell the second one about the first one and the second one said I had a small cavity and he filled in 5 minutes it for like $100. When I told him later what the other dentist wanted to do he said there is no way that tooth needed a crown, just a small filling. I read another review here about a person who never had a cavity and when he started going here he suddenly had 8 cavities in one year! So he finally went for a second opinion on another "new cavity" and was told he didn't even have a cavity!!! I usually do not take the time to write reviews, especially bad ones because I don't like being negative but it really bothers me that these people are drilling into perfectly good teeth and charging people (and insurance companies) money for it just to line their pockets with more profits. They really should be investigated for fraud. I wish I could give them zero stars or negative 5. I can't believe all the good reviews. They all say they are giving them a good review because staff was friendly. People are getting duped just because they are friendly? There are a lot of dentists and most of them are friendly Find one who won't rip you off while smiling to your face and laughing all the way to the bank!! Another thing they did is they kept calling me asking when I was going to come in and get the work done. Who does that? Greedy people and rip-off artists that's who. So I played along and I asked if they really think I needed all that work and it was going to cost that much and they double checked and said it would. Yea right and if you believe that they have a bridge for sale too. I didn't have insurance at the time so maybe that's why I went to the trouble to get another estimate. Most people with coverage are just going to believe the dentist and get the work done. But insurance only covers part of the cost. Be skeptical, if you do go here get another opinion on any work these people recommend and post your results here so other people can learn that these people shouldn't be trusted and should be out of business and fined!!!
