  • Had a great experience with this tour company. Cost was $74 for the South Rim. I went with the South Rim although the bus ride there was about 5 hours with all the pit stops. My research told me that this was the more scenic choice and the West Rim skywalk wasn't worth it, despite being closer. I was actually staying at an Airbnb off the strip but I called them and they assigned me the closest hotel for pick-up. It was a simple process. I also received an email the night before confirming the pick-up location and time. The bus that picked me up at Treasure Island was a small shuttle bus but it brought us to another hotel where we switched to the large bus. The bus had bathrooms (although we were told to please avoid going #2 because of the smell!) It was very air conditioned - cold, even. So bring long sleeves if you are like me and get easily cold!! It had televisions and they played several movies, all crappy except for Rush Hour. Okay, I'll tell - RV, Are We There Yet? and The Game Plan. But still nice to have some entertainment. We made an initial stop at the Hoover Dam where we could get out and take photos, use the bathroom and visit the gift shop. There was another stop later at McDonald's. We also passed through Seligman, AZ to see the Route 66 landmarks. The bus dropped us off at two different overlooks in the Grand Canyon. We were given about 1.5 hour to walk around each. Lunch was provided. Nothing spectacular - just a mediocre sandwich. An apple. Chips. Piece of candy. There were also snacks on the bus - cinnamon buns and Nutrigrain bars. They also gave you a bottle of water on the bus but I'd obviously suggest bringing extra bottles of your own. On the way back, we only made one pit stop (McDonald's) so it didn't take as long. It was a very comfortable and affordable trip. The bus driver was very nice and had a lot of energy. She said some hilarious things and talked a lot at the very start of the trip, giving us information about the Hoover Dam, etc. She did stop talking shortly after so I had a chance to sleep! Would recommend!
