| - Aweful! We recently planned a wedding there. The planner, named Julie was a disaster. We were charged for items twice (like several thousand dollars), the manager Cal refused to call us back, and finally when we did, he had such an attitude it was truly displeasing. They served alcohol that we never agreed upon in the contract, and we were charged for them, it took them months to give us a simple price for items, it took them weeks to answer certain questions (and several phone on my part to get eh final answer) they did not deliver services that that were agreed upon in the contract, and they did not respond to emails. Once, we asked a simple questions, we were told, " We have too many more important events before yours, we'll worry about yours later". This was a nightmare working with this Marriott. I highly, HIGHLY, recommend not having your special day here. They acted unprofessionally, unethical, and thankful, for the 400 person wedding we hosting, a major event for the area. There were many occasions were we caught them flat out lying to us, and they kept making excuses for why deadlines were meant. Our contact was reviewed at least 5-7 times before they added our correct requests, and misspelled my wife's name on several occasions. Weddings are stressful enough, and this place added about 95% of our wedding stress, mostly because we had keep calling and email to correct their mistakes, and fix added costs to items we never agreed in our meetings.
