I'm surprised this place is rated so low. I've been coming here infrequently for a couple years, and this is definitely among the nicest (and cleanest) Rexall locations I've visited.
It sounds like the people who wrote the 1-star reviews had an axe to grind against the managers (maybe for not fulfilling their every whim, perhaps?). As I have said in other reviews, I never expect people to cater to me, nor do I sympathize with people who expect to be given preferential treatment if they're essentially loitering in a store.
This Rexall is quite an interesting place for the sole reason that it stocks a lot of products I've rarely (if ever) seen in other drugstores. Cologne giftsets, certain brands of shaving products, weird knick-knacks and a well-stocked selection of beverages. It helps that some of the holiday sales have had crazy discounts, and I distinctly recall buying single-wrapped Russell Stover chocolates for mere pennies each.
I've also never had a problem with the staff. If anything, they're way too accommodating to my grandmother (who often spends several minutes playing lottery tickets whenever she visits).
This Rexall also has a nice location in Maple Grove Mall (which feels very rustic and tucked-away, despite sporting a number of chain businesses) and it's always easy to find a spot in the parking lot.
Recommended.
