  • Offering up some of the best beer in Charlotte in the tiniest space (or maybe it's just the crowds that make the space feel tiny!) You'll find parking on the street, which can be a bit of a challenge, and beer-themed food from the Twisted Eats truck located directly outside. You'll fall in love with the theme and graphics and will love the fact that they're serving up pints in 17oz glasses. Try them all for $2/5oz or grab a 10oz pour for $4. You'll pay a whopping $6 for the 17oz glass, and can take almost anything home in a growler. While they patio outside is a lovely spot to grab a table, the downside of Wooden Robot currently is its popularity. It will most likely take you a hot second to get your drink placed, and you might opt to leave your credit card open at the bar and be charged the 20% tip instead of trying to make your way back through the crowds. Seats aren't guaranteed, so you might find yourself side to side with a new friend. Tips on the best experience: go on off days or get there early! But, regardless of their downsides, if you're a craft beer lover, you've got to check them out! I highly recommend the Lifetime Achiever for you IPA lovers and The Floor is Guava is perfect for the less-beer loving type.
