| - Cox has incompetent staff and unfortunately even supervisors
1) When I relocated, I moved half of my Cox services to my new location
2) 3 yrs later, I Called Cox to close and completely pay my account, which Cox said I did
3) Months later I received a letter stating I owed money for unused 3 yr old equipment that I assumed I purchased, since they didn't ask for it back 3 yrs ago, or charge me when I closed my account recently
4) When I called explaining the situation, I was informed I would receive a follow up call within a week
5) No follow up call was received, so I called them back and paid the full amount we agreed upon
6) Apparently the full amount I paid at THEIR request, was not enough, so they sent me to collections
7) During the collection period, I informed Cox of their mistakes, and they said collections would be resolved
8) Collections was not resolved. My credit bureau was only changed to paid, not completely removed. So now my credit is still negatively affected
I give this an F for competent customer service!
