I'm starting to get interested in antiques so I decided to hit up the weekly Sunday Antique Market located at The St.Lawrence North Market.
It's open every Sunday from dawn until 5pm and admission is free.
Essentially it's a big room like a previous poster mentioned with vendors renting tables. I have gone twice and noticed a lot of the vendors are the same from the previous time.
It's a fun place to find small stuff like old watches, old coins, sculptures, paintings, jewelry and a whole other myriad of items. Items are not too expensive and your able to barter with the vendors. A lot of the items are hit and miss and to find something really special you will have to look really hard and get there early.
I find from my limited experience is if you are looking for really good antiques that will appreciate in value over time you are better off trying to find a good estate sale. The reason I say this is because based off my conversations with some of the vendors they essentially bought their stuff from an estate sale and brought it to the weekly antique show and marked up the price.
