I wasn't too sure what to expect of this place. I didn't read too much up on it before visiting, but I'm happy that I did. They have a large selection of "mock" meats w/ dishes vegetarians normally don't get to have. I had the Singapore orange rice bowl. It was a blend of broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and mock veggie chicken (you can choose from tofu, beef, or chicken). Flavor was good, my only complaint however was the absurd amount of sauce. The veggie:rice:sauce ratio was too much for me. I know for next time, I'll be asking for my rice on the side. My girlfriend had the spicy po-boy. I honestly had no idea what a po-boy was prior to this experience. I managed to get a few bites - it was pretty darn good - but also, too sauced out for our liking. We couldn't taste the rest of the goodness in the sandwich - just buffalo sauce.
There's enough stuff on the menu for me to come back and see what i like and don't like. the price is also right - they give ample portions for more than fair prices. They also make gluten free very accessible. Makes it easier to put on my list of restaurants that I'm allowed to frequent.
Looking around, they also serve alcoholic beverages. Can't complain about that either. There was a large amount of sitting space. It didn't look as big as it did from the outside. Nice patio as well! This place is definitely worth a try if you're vegetarian or not!!
