| - Cibo's only been open for a couple weeks, and tonight was our first time there. The short version: decent food, innovative ingredients, nice staff, but will get better as they work out some kinks.
Longer version: We ordered three small appetizers (roasted eggplant dip was ah-mazing!); for mains, I had the chicken salad and my date had pasta. Both dishes were excellent, though not very large. We would have been hungry with the mains if not for having the appetizers. Each main was about $14. Next time, I would probably order 3 mains to split among 2 people, or do the appetizers with mains.
The space is kind of warehouse slash chic; concrete and wood floors, hanging lights, long bars. One major risk is that drinks can be knocked off the bar on to the table below in the front half of the restaurant; this happened twice while we were there.
All in all, a nice place that will only improve as they smooth out the wrinkles!
