rev:text	I like malls but Yorkdale is never my favourite. It is modern and clean with a lot of fancy stores. Actually a lot of great shops have moved in (Nordstorm, Uncle Tetsu etc.) and I believe there is more to come. Parking can be dreadful but there is a subway station and a go bus stop attached to it so it is not too hard to get to. In addition condos are being built around the mall! Everything sounds good but one problem is the people. I expect vast crowds during weekends and holidays but some people (customers/staff) need to learn good manners: some customer who was able to afford $$$ worth of Tiff's jewellery would bump into other patrons without saying sorry. Some staff would act like they hate their jobs. I know I am generalizing but I've got more friendly smiles/greetings at Eaton Centre or STC, whether I have made an in-store purchase or not. (I did have some positive experience though at Yorkdale, say at Town Shoes). Sorry to say this but to me, Yorkdale feels more like a place where wealthy people come to burn their money on luxuries without thinking whether it's worthy or not. It is not a mall to spend some quality time with your loved one and maybe grab a gift for him/her. The other thing I don't like is the food selection. I am not being close-fisted but the choices hardly satisfy. I felt I was being ripped off when I was eating at the Japanese/Vietnamese joints. Thinking of all the authentic, delicious food I could have enjoyed outside the mall, I got even sadder. If I am to pick a mall to hang out this is rarely my first choice.
