| - the gym itself is beautiful and all open floor plan. I did however, have a bad 1st impression with lack of customer service and information. I signed up over the phone, the guy over the phone was extremely helpful.I was told that i just had to sign the ready contract when i arrived, which is perfectly fine- except when i went in- I waited 35+ minutes, just to sign a damn contract?! thats a workout in itself. i was kinda left there to explain myself IF someone asked yet not much help was given.
**Being a new gym, they should have staff ready to complete these quick contracts... or tell us new members that these employees are busy and that we can start the workout then sign contract after the workout ---OR better yet, how about: "would you like to receive a tour while you wait?". Someone in front of me had to pay his bill, not a problem he was there before me and she apologized many times to him for waiting. when i saw the gentleman leave i thought i would finally get to sign my contract.... nope- lady was no where to be found- seeing that I was growing impatient the receptionist found her (or seemed like it) when i got to sit down it was seriously awkward- no "im sorry for the wait" like the other guy got, i signed the contract and then had to take a pic... as she was getting the webcam set up, she was staring at me with a awkward look on her face, after seconds of her staring back and forth with no words i had to ask "...what...?" - i still don't know 100% - when it was all done (a whopping 5 minutes later ::sarcasm::) i asked if there was a 2nd floor, or if this was the whole gym and she then offered a tour...I got over it but it would be GREAT if people communicated instead of seeming unsure/careless when it comes to us noobs that have never been to a Mountain Side gym.
updating for being an inconvenience and closing at 9 on Friday's
