  • I visited the Swagel Wootton Eye Center for cataract problems. I presented my insurance card and proceeded to have surgery in both eyes. To my surprise after the surgery I received bills in excess off $1700. On calling their billing department I was surprised to learn that their business is out of network for my insurance, which no one told me prior to surgery. I tried to receive some sort of reimbursement without success or explanation. Financially this clinic is nothing but common thieves, so if you go there be sure to verify your insurance before work is done. Ron P.
