| - I'm in love with the Cornflake-Chocolate Chip-Marshmallow cookie mix from Milk Bar, so I stopped in to the store to grab some while exploring downtown Toronto. They were sold out, and I was sad. I grabbed the Compost Cookie mix instead, which is similar and still pretty good. The associate who cashed me out said they sell out of the Cornflake one pretty quickly.
The set up was a little confusing as a first time visitor. The entrance is a big wooden door, and when you enter the cash register is directly to the right, along with a dining room for the noodle bar. The Milk Bar products are up the stairs in a little refrigerated room. They had all of the same items as the shops in NYC, but in much smaller quantities, so if you want something specific, I guess try to get there as early as you can.
I also tried the cereal milk soft serve with crunch for the first time and I had high hopes after hearing people rave about it. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. The soft serve wasn't as sweet as I would have preferred and the crunch had a strange aftertaste.
This is a nice little Milk Bar set up, and if you are a fan of their soft serve, it's a convenient set up. The store associates were friendly and service was quick, but the small size detracted from the experience for me.
