  • This is the worst eyeglasses store I have ever been in. Correction: The worst store period. Bad service is not even the right term. They have glasses that are hard to find other places, but what the heck? In my whole life, I really have never been yelled at by a shopkeeper until it happened to me suddenly and very unexpectedly at Eyeopia. I was totally blindsided. Incredibly, it was not by some disgruntled employee, but by the owner! And this was after I had spent $600.00 in the store! Selection is not worth it if the owner doesn't bother to stop himself from losing his temper if you inadvertently cross him. There are other good places to get glasses in Madison. This place sets a new standard for awful service. However, if you like to live dangerously, or enjoy being insulted, then this is the place to buy your glasses.
