  • A friend and I met here for early dinner before an event at Blumenthal. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly in assisting us with our wine and entree courses. We were very disappointed in our pizza. The crust was definitely burned and we pointed that out to waitress who immediately offered to have another made for us . We were constrained by time and didn't want to leave a pizza in the car for several hours. She had manager comp us a free dessert which we were going to get anyway. I know this restaurant has been a mainstay for Charlotte residents and visitors for years and have frequented it myself many times over the years. This anomaly of burned pizza was a shock because I expect more from a restaurant of your reputation. Surely quality should be a given. At the very least we shouldn't have had to pay for it since we left half of it there and ate only toppings of the rest.
