| - After seeing an ad in the 89135 magazine I decided to put this company on my price compare list. I called a total of five companies to have my couch, tile, grout, carpet done. I figured just get the entire house done in one swoop. Carpet Green Clean gave me the best prices so I booked. Saturday I got a call asking if the appt could be pushed up, I said sure. A gentleman arrived and before starting we talked cost. Mainly my issue was the tile/grout/seal. On the phone I was given 35ç for the tile and a total of 40ç for the cleaning and seal. The guy who arrived stood fast in saying that it would be 75ç and that I was given wrong information. After haggling he went down to 65ç then 55ç but at that point I called the second most expensive guys on my price sheet and had them coming the next day to do the entire project for a hundred less, including a large tip.
Apparently in carpet industry there is such thing as a "Bait and Switch" tactic, I was told whatever so they could get in the door. All those hidden costs and extra fees are introduced, they pray that you are so tired with ordeal, have major plans coming up, or just don't care about your hard earned money that you will allow them to clean. Consumers unite! Fight back and don't go along, stop these predators from robbing you!
The new company, two brothers owned, were on time and professional. Noble Cleaners. After seeing the work they did I was so happy I didn't let this place continue. Instead of one man doing all the work mentioned above with some machine he had in a beat up van with "cleaner" stickers on the side, these guys had the whole set up. My micro fiber couch looks new and smells great, they let me stand over their shoulders and answered all my questions. I watched the filth go through the nozzle (gross) the tile was perfect and sealed, the carpet was perfect. The price stayed the same as quoted too.
Stay away from this company or you will spend your beer money on getting ripped off.
