  • So I've been a roll on trying new great lunch spots and Zookz is just that. I was craving a salad (even though their known for their sandwiches) and I saw one on their menu that made my stomach jump up and down with excitement. I got the #3 salad that has mixed greens, black beans, corn, sunflower seeds, feta cheese, chicken, and a honey balsamic dressing. And yes, it was as delicious as it sounds! My stomach and I were completely satisfied. I ordered to go and they made sure to put two dressing in there with the salad which made me happy. Nothing worse than an underdressed salad!! Situation averted. As I was standing in line I was able to briefly skim the rest of their menu and see some pictures of their popular breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They looked amazing and I was surprised to find out that they are unique sandwiches as they're pressed/made/heated into a pocket like form so all the goodies of the sandwich are invisible to the naked eye until bit into (or cut in half). Basically, they look yummy and fascinating. I can't wait to go back and try one out. They also have dessert sandwiches too! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I wish I lived a little closer so I could frequent this spot more often. ALSO, check in on Yelp and received 10% off your bill!! Can't beat that!
