  • My family of 4 was booked into this hotel a few weeks ago for 2 nights. We only stayed for one. Upon arrival in the evening, we pulled out the sofabed only to find the previous inhabitants sheets still on it in a crumpled pile. We were told to put them outside the door. Next, I discovered the previous inhabitants underwear in the corner of the closet. Ewwww. At 10:30 that night, we called the front desk because our toilet was clogged. We were informed that there was no maintenance staff until the morning. But... we need a plunger or something, I said. I was told that they would send up their driver with a plunger. 45 minutes later, he arrived, plunger in hand. He proceeded to plunge the toilet and then walk out with the plunger dripping all the way to the door. If it hadn't been 11:15pm, I would have left then. To the hotel's credit, the staff was incredibly nice and tried to do their best. We were not charged for our awful night, but we did high-tail it out of there in the morning.
