  • This place is a jumble of the traditional and modern. Traditional worship forms with an informal edge and a healthy interest in the world around it. A classic building creates a refuge from the capitalist cathedral adjacent and houses a congregation that wants to make trouble for the powers that be and welcome almost any who need peace and a champion. Worth a look if you're anywhere nearby. They often have socials of various kinds with no agenda other than building community. Look for Lifting Spirits on some Thursday evenings or Panter's Pub on some Fridays.
