| - I went to this restaurant for the first time with my SO last Tuesday(Mar 17th). When we walked in, there were a bunch of people standing awkwardly in the door and then someone came by to seat us. The table was dirty, so the man quickly wiped it, but there were still crumbs all over it. It took about 10 minutes just to get drinks(a water and a coke).
I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was trashed. While waiting for food, the phone kept ringing loudly for several minutes with no one answering it.
I got the Aloo Tikki first after about 15 minutes. It had small black specs and crumbles on it, which I wiped off. The favor was decent. The outside of the patties was luke warm, but the inside was definitely cold. The Palak paneer was decent flavor wise as well, but it only had 4 paneer cubes in the whole dish. My SO got the chicken and rice. The flavor of the chicken was really good but I got a gangly piece was was turned off from eating more chicken. I'm not sure what is used to flavor the rice, since after a few bites I couldn't justify taking the rest home(which I am very much against throwing food away if I can help it). I enjoy trying new foods, so I am used to ethnic flavors, but something wasn't right about the chicken and rice.
My SO and I did agree that the Naan was really good. Unfortunately, I don't think that is enough for a sit down return (maybe just take out for the naan).
I was so disappointed with this experience, since I was expecting it really good based on reviews and the pretty attractive pictures on the website.
