  • Located in one of the coolest areas, Aside of Heart turned out to be a great experience. Traveling is always hard for vegans, challanged to find place to not only have a decent, nutritious meal, but also to be among others not questioning our choices. Aside was the exact place I was willing for: friendly staff, great food cooked with love, and a welcoming atmosphere. To eat I had a falafel-burger and humus which was great. And trust me, I know good falafel when I eat one. For desert I got a chocolate-chips cookie which was a bit dry - but that didn't stop me from taking 2 more 'for the road' :-) , I wasn't in the mood for smoothy (although it was claimed they have the best smoothies in town), so I got settled with a freshly squeezed lemonade. For sure, Aside of Heart is a must for my next trip to Phoenix.
