  • Rude! I was gifted a black velvet marmonte bag for Christmas. Obviously a black velvet purse collects a ton of dust right? On Christmas, I took the purse out of the bag then decided that it was too small and I'd return it. I came on January 7th, 2018 to return the bag. I was told in the snottiest manner that my bag was "clearly used" and they would not take it back. I've never used the bag because I didn't like it! There was dust on the outside because a BLACK VELVET BAG CATCHES EVERY PIECE OF DUST!! It could have easily been brushed off. Even the little Gucci pamphlet was still inside the purse. I'm extremely discouraged with this store, I've had a much better experience with the one in Manhattan. (And that's where one would think that the employees would be more stuck up.) I took the purse to the Gucci store located at Saks in the Biltmore and the employee there said that nothing looked wrong with the bag and if it was up to her she would return it. Unfortunately, it couldn't be returned there because they are part of Saks. Thanks Gucci! Now I'm stuck with a purse I'll never wear.
