  • took the family out to P&P for New Year's Eve lunch - 8 of us and every one was very happy with their meals - including a vegetarian and two gluten-intolerants. the Veg had the fried brussels sprouts and a beet salad and swooned - also a Maggie margarita that was excellent; Glutens had breakfast (raved about the pork belly & potatoes), and beet salad + order of bacon, and they must lose money on the bacon; easily 7-8 slices of excellent quality pig sides. Sis had the 'Cuban Pickle Crisis' - a superb Cubano sandwich, and hubby had the P&P club - both raved about the quality and the size of the meals. Niece had 'Apocalypse Sow', I had a bite and it is excellent. I had a patty melt, I'm a sucker for home-made rye, and ordered it medium-rare, but got it well done. It's hard to get a burger properly cooked medium-rare here in the Valley, but I expected better here; the quality of the Naiman Ranch beef was good, but,,,,,,,,,,,, come on guys. PS - Our server, a grey-haired rail of a happy smiling man, was very good and not intrusive - it was easy to tell when we were all laughing out loud that he should wait a minute to ask how we're doing - we're doing just fine. All-in-all it was a very good dining experience, and I will go back.
