Came here to sip on some wine with friends. First of all they were having AC issues and it was really hot inside. We sat down and their AC unit immediately dripped all over my friend from the ceiling. It even landed in her beer. When the guy came over to clean it he said they are experiencing issues and repeatedly called the maintenance person out. If you know that why wouldn't you close off that seating section?
My friend got her beer replaced but when she paid her bill the owner said she would take care of the second beer (my friend only had one beer) the second beer was a replacement (bad attention to detail) so nothing was taken care of.
The 5oz wine pour (full glass) was pricy $9.95 and didn't fill the glass. I would recommend to use smaller wine glasses so you feel like you got a bigger pour.
If you buy a wine bottle and drink it in the restaurant they charge a $10 cork fee. They say the prices marked are "retail" so add $10 to that price. How much retail business do you do? Build in the $10 to the price and offer that full bottle as an alternative to the glass purchase.
At the end of the night when we payed our wine/food bill the owner said she would give us a discount because of the inconvenience of the AC issue. She gave us a 10% discount. Come on, at least comp one drink or a cheese plate.
You can tell the owners don't have a business background. I wouldn't be back or refer anyone here. Sad because I was looking forward to a neighborhood bar.
