** Hip atmosphere with chill outdoor balcony for nicer weather and group hangouts. Only downside is that the food is on the pricier side.
I stumbled upon this restaurant originally trying to go to Umami, which was closed. The smell of the tacos from the kitchen immediately caught my attention, so I decided to bring my group of friends here.
The decorations and paintings in the balcony are definitely unique and make it a chill spot to hangout with friends. Probably only good for a small window of the year in Pitt though.
The food is definitely tasty... the only downside is that it is pricey, especially for college students. I ordered an elote (~$7), which tasted decent but probably not worth the price.
The California burrito ($11) which contains guac and fries among other things. Would be perfect if it came with rice, but the guac and fries are actually a very tasty combination and touch to the burrito. The waitress also said this was a popular option so this is definitely one to try out.
I also considered the tacos, but they turn out around $4 or more per taco... and I didn't think that two tacos would be able to fill me up. They definitely look good as well, but if you are hungry you are probably better off ordering a burrito.
