| - As a resident reading some of the negative reviews I couldn't help but to write my own. It makes me wonder if the people who wrote the other reviews, live in the same building, as they don't resemble our experience on any level. Having moved from a large home in North Scottsdale, DC Ranch area (all the kids left for college), we did a lot of research and looking before choosing the Broadstone Waterfront.
Our goals was to feel like we were living at a "W Hotel." We looked closely at CityScape, Broadstone Camelback and Lincoln among others. We have not been disappointed in our choice at the Waterfront and plan on staying here for several years.
We have never heard a neighbor, with the exception of occasional vacuuming of area rugs. The responsiveness of maintenance and administrative staff is timely and friendly. Even small items including light bulbs and a drawer handle screw replacement have been addressed within 24 hours of notification. The windows and carpets have just been spring cleaned.
I can only report on our personal experience, but I've have yet to run into a neighbor who expresses some of the negative opinions I've seen written here. In fact, several neighbors whose leases have expired have moved within the Broadstone Waterfront as other floor plans or larger units have come available. Why would these tenants renew their lease and even upgrade to other floor plans, if the negative reviews were indicative of their experience?
I can only surmise that the negative reviews on YELP are tenants who have an alternate agenda, are trying to break their lease or have had a one-off experience. Before we moved in last year, we even asked the management about the YELP reviews and asked if we could visit the property at night, etc., as we were concerned about the party atmosphere posted here. Management was more than accommodating to alleviate our concerns before we committed to a lease. We found the property much quieter than we expected (90% of the time we are the only ones in the hot tub).
Each time we travel out of town, and come home, we get a silly grin, and feel as if we have found a little piece of paradise. Come see for yourself!
