Where do I start??? Oh I know, with that moron Marc Lustig from the service department. About a year and half ago i switched over from Nissan and decided to buy infiniti. I've always had awesome experiences when visiting infiniti's service department, whether it be from a simple car wash/oil change to a maintenance being done. Charles always was pleasant to be around and the employees always looked like they enjoyed their job. In the past few months I believe this place has gone down hill the employees there dont look happy at all.
I've had 3 troubling experiences with Marc:
1st one was at Autonation where I took the car in 4 times for the same thing and everytime he told me that the issues I was having with my car was all in my head and nothing was wrong with it.. After leaving his dealership the last and final time, I went to another and I was told within 3hrs that the issue was the transmission and these new CVT are a problem. Sure enough the tranny needed to be changed (anyhow i know this has nothing to do with ParkPlace but it has everything to do with their employee Marc).
2nd time was earlier this year i went into Parkplace Infiniti service to get my G's oil changed, it took them 2 hrs to do and when i got it back it had not been washed and there were black stains on my chair. When I asked for the Service Manager low and behold who comes walking toward me Marc (I looked at my wife and we both gave each other the OMG not him look) I pointed out the issues and asked why isnt the car washed he bluntly told me that this techs cannot read my mind and that I needed to ask for a wash and that the marks on the chair can be just wiped off. Upset on how he lacks customer service I asked for Charles and was told he is no longer with the company at this point I grabbed my keys and took off.
3rd time lol what a joke.. I went into the body shop to get a quote on my bumper to be fixed from backing up into something. The body guy jose and the painter (i forgot his name but super nice kid) took a look at my bumper and jose gave me an estimate. I took the car in to get the bumper fixed. I was greeted by some girl cate or whatever her name is, that looked like she was still in High School and the only reason why I say this is because she was constantly on her phone and was flirting with all the guys that were around her. She acted like I was a bother to her and took my keys and said I'll call you when its done. Parkplace had my car for a week and I did not get any phone calls giving me a status or to tell me its done. I decided to call in and ask the status and Cate said "oh ya its done come get it". So I decided to drive down and pick up my car and 1hr later. They pull the car up and I cannot stop thinking in my head WOW!! they amazing job matching the color to the rest of the car. After walking to the passenger side i notice that the bumper was hanging so just so happens here comes Marc and he says 'whats the issue im the body shop manager" granted i did not ask for him nor do i want to deal with this idiot. I tell him nicely that the paint is amazing but my bumper isnt on right. Marc proceeds talk under his breath and say "geez its only a clip" I tell him I understand its just a clip but whoever put the bumper back on should have seen it was hanging I dont pay you folks to do a crappy job. Besides is this how you treat your customers? Marc seriously lacks Customer Service and If you ask me it doesnt sound like he knows anything about the bodyshop either. At this point im getting upset again, I ask for them to replace the clip which was done quickly.. I asked to speak with the Painter and Body Guy just to thank them on the great job that they both did. I was able to thank jose but was told the painter was in cali for training so i wasnt able to thank him, I asked if there were any issues thats why it took so long, and what am it told? "that my car had been done a few days ago and that cate should have called". Im sure she did not call because shes to busy playing with her phone and making pretty eyes for all the guys there.
I wish this wasnt the only Infiniti dealership here in Las Vegas.. I honestly thought this place was a good turn around from towbin, ha! was i wrong..
P.S. ParkPlace do yourselves a favor, get rid of that worthless Service Manager Marc and the little girl that work there
