  • Best spicy tuna roll in Charlotte, hands down. Room 112 is my favorite sushi in Uptown and ranks highly for me in Charlotte overall. It's great for lunch, though often busy. Go early or be prepared to wait in the adjoining lobby. The sushi combo lunch can't be beat: two maki rolls and a side salad for $9. I can't speak to the rest of the menu as I'm always in the sushi mindset when I visit, but everything that comes out of the kitchen looks wonderful. For my fellow gluten free diners, they carry GF soy sauce and aren't stingy at all with serving it. I've been fortunate to have consistently great service at Room 112. I've gone for rushed lunches and leisurely dinners in parties of two to six and have found that my servers have been in tune with our pace each time. AND you get a delightful Andes mint with your check, which -- while seemingly in contrast with the Asian fusion menu -- is a real treat.
