  • Bottom line: If I ever come to Madison for leisure, it won't be to see the city, it will be just to stay at this Holiday Inn. You can't really get this amazing of an operation from just one person. Each and every one of their employees is on top of their game - anyone who's ever seen a business run from the inside knows how hard that is, and this place has somehow achieved that nirvana You can read the other reviews to find out about the shuttle service, tues/wednesday happy hour, breakfast, free drink tickets to monte's when you sign up with their rewards etc... What I really want to speak about is the service and dedication staff members have to their customers. Exhibit 1. My colleagues and I came from the airport and were waiting for a shuttle. It got a little full due to everyone's luggage and the driver of the shuttle waited with me and my colleagues and ended up paying for a taxicab back to the hotel for us. Exhibit 2. Every time we go out to the city, the staff go above and beyond to arrange taxi's, shuttles, whatever is needed. One night our group was out a bit later, the hotel called and asked us if we were okay and if we needed transportation arranged back later since we hadn't arranged for a shuttle back to the hotel yet. Exhibit 3. My friend couldn't use their bar soap for medical reasons, the staff made an exception and got her liquid soap. Every staff member I've interacted with has been extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in the quality of my stay here. I would give this place 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Amazing job Holiday Inn Express - Verona!
