  • After being crushed when the old location closed, my wife and I were excited to try this place. The new location is odd. While close to downtown (and technically probably considered downtown), it's in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. Which I guess is fine, just strange. The space itself is nice,(if not a little hipsterish) and street parking was easy. I'm not sure if they have a lot themselves. They have switched to an order at the counter, get a number system, as opposed to full service. Which generally I don't mind, but it doesn't seem to work well the way they have it setup. Just one register was open, and we had 2 people in front of us. The register person has to take their order and get any non-alcoholic drinks they ask for. This takes a while. I would say we were waiting for over 5-10 minutes just behind a couple of people. It must be much worse when they are busy. The menu is similar to the old one, but as several other reviews have mentioned it is almost all in Spanish. Which is usually fine, but there were menu items that had a sentence or two description all in Spanish. This holds up the line even further due to people having to ask so many questions. Eventually we were able to order. This is not a cheap place. We got 6 tacos, chips and guac, and 2 beers, and with a 15% tip (reminder, no full service) it was over $50. The old location had a killer happy hour, but I saw nothing posted about one here. Maybe they will work it in eventually. At this point, you maybe thinking, how did this get 4 stars? Well....the food is just absolutely delicious. The tacos are very simple, but the quality of the ingredients is superb. I ate 3 tacos, and probably could of eaten 3 more. Anyways, to sum up, the food is great, but the prices and ordering system leave something to be desired. And would love to see a happy hour make a return.
