| - The hotel is well located near old Montreal, and lots of restaurants. The staff were friendly, accommodating and had no issues speaking English instead of French to us. Breakfast was included in our price, and it was probably the best continental breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. (Unfortunately, I stay in lots of hotels for work). Check in was easy and painless. With a complimentary upgrade to a king suite. Now for the reasons it's a 3 star rating as opposed to a 4 or 5 star. First.... There is no street parking, so I had to park illegally while my girlfriend went inside to ask about both parking and registration. We were directed around to a side street entrance to a parking garage entrance. Once in, parking was easy enough, with in/out privileges. Second... the decor of our room was dated. It wasn't dirty, or unclean, just could have used a fresh coat of paint. Third.., the in room air conditioning was very loud, enough that it was impossible to sleep with it on.
That all said, I'd certainly stay there again.
