  • Been to this office twice and never going back. My son was 4 weeks at the time of our first visit and when I walk up to the counter, and sign my son in, the receptionist tells me, they never scheduled my sons appointment and they'd try and get him into see a doctor who was available. That was already a bad way to start off a visit. I surely didn't make up the fact my son had an appointment. After about a 15 minute wait we are informed we will be seen by Dr. Hodapp. Several minutes later a rude nurse calls for my son. She looked as if she would have rather been anywhere else but there. That type of demeanor is ridiculous when working with infants and children. However we see Dr. Hodapp, he was a good doctor but my boyfriend and I definitely felt rushed. We walked out of the place unsatisfied but had to return a week later for a weight check. We arrive on time for the weight check and there were about 4 parents total in the waiting room. 45 minutes go by and the waiting room is cleared of parents in before and after us. My boyfriend asks how much longer the wait and the receptionist cuts him off in the middle of his sentence and says we will have to wait for a nurse to be free. Frustrated, we up and leave and check his weight ourselves at facility nearby that offers free weight checks. On the way home from getting our sons weight checked, we receive a call from a staff member asking where we were because we were being called. The time of that call was 9:15 am our appt. was scheduled for 8:10. This place seems to treat it's patients like a number. No real interactions between staff and patients. Although the doctor we seen was nice, we did feel rushed and not really cared for. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a friendly environment with doctors that take their time with each patient. I'm a new mom and want my son's experiences at the doctor to be pleasant ones. St. Rose Pediatrics is definitely not the facility for that.
