Beautiful facility/banquet room with lovely views and hanging paper lanterns. Overall good experience. Staffing however, was mixed.
They kindly let us in early and saved an ill conceived, outdoor, skating birthday party (ice rink and warming house were kept closed on what turned out to be the coldest day of the year) from total meltdown. Kids had a great time playing inside.
Unfortunately, half way through, other staff informed us that they'd accidentally left open a dividing partition and we weren't supposed to be using the "other half" of the space. Try telling that to fifteen rambunctious kindergarteners - "sorry, you can't run past this imaginary line anymore". Maintenance person was surly and rude to several guests, even though it was their oversight.
We cleaned up after ourselves and made an extra donation to Warner Park to thank them for saving the party. However, some of their staff could definitely benefit from customer service training or should have limited interaction with the public. It's a Community Center after all.
