| - I work in the Insurance Industry and should start off by saying, I do send a ton of business to ERAC. I also used to work with them for about 5 years, so understand the rental process even though it has completely upgraded since my time with electronic sign ins, etc. My Enterprise Rep at my office, Jolene Jones set me up with a 1 way rental from Vegas Airport to John Wayne airport as I had to go to a funeral and was going to fly back the same day after attending the funeral. She was able to get me a pretty good rate for a one way, and they waived the drop fee. The drop fees for 1 ways are usually pretty significant. I would try to negotiate it as it is not a set price. I called ERAC to see where I could park my personal car as I would be flying back and needing to pick up my personal car. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the airport has Remote parking across the street for $15 a day. I parked in remote parking and walked across the street to the Rental center.
Check in was pretty easy and when I walked in to get my car, I was greeted by Alastaire. He literally walked up to me within seconds of coming in the door and greeted me with a large smile on his face. He looked at his hand computer and said Well Hello Ms. VIP. Who doesn't like to be called a VIP? It was pretty cool. Apparently when Jolene had booked my rental, it goes under a VIP code. I advised him that I was a prior employee and work in the industry and understood the process. I had a standard size vehicle reserved which is like a Malibu. We started walking out and they have their exotic collection right in the front. We walked past a beautiful BMW Suv and he offered it to me for $10 more a day than what I had reserved. I actually drive a BMW so was really happy to pay the upgrade and take the vehicle as I was comfortable in it and it would be a long drive. BOY was that car amazing. It had navigation, a long roof window all the way to the back, premium sound, etc. I felt like Alastaire understood my vehicle personality without me even telling him! I asked him to take a photo for YELP and he DID. What a great sport!
After I flew back to Vegas, I took the rental shuttle back to the Rental center and then walked across the street to get my personal car.
I really really enjoyed my whole experience here and would highly recommend the airport location and ERAC to anyone. Thanks again Alastaire and Jolean for the great customer experience and beautiful vehicle selection!
