My friend and I came with her kids to Sir Casimir Gzowski Park for an evening at the beach. The jogging path remained steadily busy, but the beach area was quiet with a few scattered people relaxing. Her kids had a blast playing in the shallow water, building sandcastles and skipping rocks. Expect to find some moss or greenery debris floating by. Sir Casimir Gzowski Park also has a beautiful distant view of Toronto on one side, and the vast lake to view right in front.
Afterwards, we took the kids to the playground. I was enthralled to not only see different play equipment than what we have in The States, but also that it was all big enough for adults to use too! I'm a lifelong fan of swings. There was also a contraption where you stand on a disc, hold onto a steering wheel and spin in circles by adjusting your body weight. That was pretty awesome too!
Just to the side of the park is a burger and ice cream stand to grab a snack during your visit. Sir Casimir Gzowski Park is a fun, simple park to dip your feet in Lake Ontario and release your inner child with some playground antics.
