| - I have used Brakes 4 Less several times over the years and they have always been fair and honest. Today, I went in after going to another place that told me my wife's car needed all sorts of things done. He went through the list and said all I needed were new brakes and rear rotors, but that all the other issues I am having, like tire wear are because of an alignment issue, not struts like the other place told me. Keep in mind that Brakes 4 Less does struts and he could have said I needed them and charged me to do them, but he didn't. He told me to get new tires 6 to 8 months down the road and get an alignment at that time. I am very pleased with the service and highly recommend this location.
Please keep in mind that the one-star reviewers for Brakes 4 Less have gotten on Yelp to make a complaint - most have only one other review. The one negative reviewer who has a lot of other reviews was upset about calling the corporate number and the local place quoting a different price, so there was obviously some confusion and she most definitely paid more at the dealership. Also, while I trust the negative reviewers believe they had problems with their service, you can't take such a negative review seriously if they don't bother reviewing other places, so I would hope that my review and the other positive reviews lead you to check out Brakes 4 Less.
One other thing about their pricing, you can go and get the basic brake package for around $100 to $120. However, you will get what you pay for. If you go to other places for brake service, such as dealerships, you will get a higher quality brake pad, but also expect to pay around $500. For the dealership quality brake pads, I am paying half that amount at Brakes 4 Less.
