We came to pick strawberries on the holiday Monday following Canada Day and it was crowded as expected. The market is near the entrance but for pick your own, drive further into the farm (follow the helpful signs). Parking was a pain because of the crowd.
Bring your own buckets or buy theirs for $4 each. They weigh each bucket you bring in and subtract the weight when you pay for your strawberries at the end (which I loved!!!).
There were plenty of strawberries even though it was relatively late in the season. Plenty of fields and space to choose from, even though there were so many people there that day. Strawberries were $2.75/lb which I found pretty reasonable.
Some employees were quite friendly and informative while others were very inefficient and rude.
In addition to strawberries (& raspberries in July), they also have pick your own vegetables (snap and snow peas amongst others) which I thought was quite nice.
Overall, I'd recommend coming for a family excursion; it's great for all ages.
