My sister and I brought our parents to view this apartment. They live in Florida and are relocating to Phoenix to be closer to us. They flew to Phoenix specifically to view these apartments as they are the closest to my sister's house. The woman who works there asked for our IDs. My sister and I both had government issued IDs, as did our mother. My elderly father at age 85, did not have a government issued ID because he had lost it. He offered another ID instead. The person there, Tiffany, would not allow my father access to view the apartment. I asked her what was the reason for the rule. She politely but firmly said she didn't know but those are just the rules. I asked her if there was a management number I could call to get an exception to the rule since my father was visiting just for this reason. The rest of us had IDs, and my 80 year old mother, who needs assistance walking, had gone through a great deal of physically difficulty just getting to the apartment building; she did not want to see the apartment without my Dad. Tiffany looked at me and said no there was no number to call and those were the rules. So we had to leave, knowing that a trip from Florida to Phoenix just for my parents to view that complex had been wasted. Rules exist for good reasons, but people should really use basic common sense and courtesy when exceptional cases occur. She could at least have tried to call the management company to see if the rules could be relaxed this once.
