| - My niece was married this past weekend at Verrado's venue. The following review is my perspective as not only her aunt but as her wedding planner and coordinator as well:
Verrado's breath-taking views coupled with the delicious five-course meal, and friendly waiting-staff service was absolutely fantastic. HOWEVER, Verrado uses a third-party vendor (Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse) to help them coordinate wedding events at their facility. Our experience with them (specifically co-owner, Kathy) was absolutely horrible! She is very unprofessional, lacks communication skills, has no regard for a brides plans (which in our case, were previously okay'd by another one of their coordinators), has a negative attitude, AND not only is she not helpful she appeared to purposefully change some of the brides wedding plans and timeline at the last minute. I am surprised and disappointed that this classy venue would tolerate a sub par third-party to represent them in any area. Btw, to be sure I wasn't being judgmental, I spoke with several of the waiting staff about Kathy. I came to understand that her behavior is almost always unpredictable and much of the waiting staff walks on eggshells around her. ATTENTION FUTURE BRIDES- Before signing a contract with Verrado be sure to ask about your wedding coordinator options. If possible, opt out of using "Thee Wedding and Event Warehouse" staff. I should mention that I've worked in conjunction with many other wedding planners/coordinators and have never experienced the likes of this! Please feel free to message me for specific details about our experience.
