Dear Alamo:
I was so excited to hear when your theater was opening in my neighborhood. My husband and I have loved going to the Chandler location. The experience has always been top notch. I have to say, my experience was a complete let down. This review has nothing to do with your staff. In fact, they were very nice and the service I received was what I would expect for a soft opening. Even the food was fine.
This review has everything to do with comfort. I have never sat in a more uncomfortable theater seat except one time where my seat was broken in a packed Cinemark. The chairs seemed child size, the seat almost shallow and they do not recline hardly at all, stiff in fact leaving our backs sore by the time the movie ended. We tested the seats in the front rows which were better, but again, not much of a recline. How would anyone of a larger size comfortably enjoy a movie here? Many people don't want to sit in the front rows to watch a movie. I seriously am hoping these seats are only in theater 1 and not the entire theater. I heard other patrons talking about moving to the front seats because of how uncomfortable they were. I can only compare them to seats on a plane, but less comfortable. I am so so disappointed and It absolutely pains me to write this. I am more than happy to change my review if it happened to just be the row I was sitting in or other theater rooms are different.
