rev:text	Don't let the basement stairs and the back-of-the-parking-lot location fool you. Montford Billiards may be tucked away and look a little sketch from the outside, but it's a great little spot to play pool. I had no plan to come here. We were literally walking down the street, saw the sign, and said "huh, that could be fun. Let's go!" When we walked in, there was a mix of people. It was like rocker meets hipster. They have a decent beer selection, but the beer was cold and the bartender last night was really nice. It was our first time there, so he gave us a run down of the place: -Two types of tables. 9-ft for the hard core players (30-60min time slots) and 7-ft for players that, well, play like me at $1/game. -You're going for the beer, not the mixed drinks. Alcohol selection is small, but enough where they can make all the basics -Membership only place (I think he said it was because they serve alcohol and not food?). They have a paper where you basically sign your name. It's free. I don't know if this place has been around enough to look "run down" yet, so it's actually a really clean place! This surprisingly includes the bathroom. Granted, this place was filled with guys, so I'm pretty sure I was the only female to use the ladies room, but it was spotless. It's a great place if you're looking to kill some time, hang out with the guys, maybe even go on a date wearing your nicest leather jacket and jeans. Give this place a chance and tell yourself "ok, we'll just stay for a drink". It's a cool little spot.
