  • I dreaded going here the week before Xmas. But, my impression was that this store was well-organized, well-stocked, and had friendly staff. I so much more used to the "Hey, it's Christmas...Get out of my way! I'm shopping here!" but this was a quick, tidy, change of pace. I do think the selections have gone down over the years, but that doesn't mean that what they had wasn't displayed well and was easy to get to. The only problem I had, was that I decided not to get a certain toy in my cart, and I couldn't FIND the shelf it came from. That's a lot of toys to side track and confuse me like that! I did find that some of the patrons were a bit unruly and all complainy, but our cashier was very gracious amidst all the grumbling. I could see in her eyes that she was one of those retail salespeople to whom Christmas is a season to get thru as quickly as possible. The customers were the problem here instead of the employees! And I want to say the neighborhood is now a bit dicey, so go in the daytime.
