  • I wish there was an opportunity to rate with negative stars. I reserved a full size rental car through this company online for a total of $216 for the 4 days we were to be in Arizona. When we arrive, I simply asked for a GPS, which ended up costing almost $100, add my spouse to the rental as a driver, which costs nearly $60 , and insurance that was well over $100. My reservation stated my cost, after paying my initial deposit, would be $216 and at the counter we get slammed with a total bill of $583. This is unethical, demoralizing, advantageous, and completely disgusting. I did not have time to argue as I had a job interview I had to get to. Avoid this place at all costs. I have ran into 5 year olds on the side of the road operating a lemonade stand that have better business integrity than this money hungry company. A Toyota Camry should never be over $600 to rent from Tuesday morning through Saturday morning. I do plan on filing a formal complaint with the BBB as I now truly understand why they are called Advantage; they will take advantage of anyone and everyone to profit. I advise you, not to walk, but to run away from Advantage. Avoid this place at all costs. I would rather take my chances with a jitney than ever consider Advantage again. These people prey on individuals and do not honor their reservation, do not fully explain the entire purchase process, and simply want to get the money and run. Furthermore, where did my deposit go and what did it count towards? A mere $50 for reserving online and I see nothing on my receipt regarding this. Do yourself a favor, run from this place as fast as your body will allow or they will milk you dry for every cent they can obtain. Transparency is not a quality this company has and it is pathetic. Next time I will go with a competitor that allows my spouse to be added for free, and charges a mere $10 for insurance per day and $10 for navigation per day. The massive upcharge in the cost of the rental speaks to the lack of affordability for the typical traveler.
