  • Have lived in this area for 16 years and have used Poplar Cleaners even before they moved to their current location. Lately I have noticed that they use a lot of part-time help and this shows in their customer service. Twice in the last two months when I went to pick up my clothes I was asked to pay a higher price than what was printed on the ticket issued to me. I refused. Today I found out that they actually gave my dry cleaned clothes away to someone else! I was asked to come back later to pick them up while they sorted this mess out. To top it off, when I went back, they again tried to charge me a higher price then what was printed on my ticket on the grounds that one of the shirts was a silk shirt. I refused, stood my ground and asked them to please read the shirt label to prove my point which they did. The owner blamed his part-time help. If you go here, hold on to your ticket!
