| - Patty,
First of all, we have visited your store to stock up on spring training shirts and hats for the past 4-5 trips.
However, I think you need to re-train the staff. We were greeted by an employee who explained the "buy one, get one half off" promotion. After shopping for about 20-30 minutes, we paid for our items. The cashier explained we would only get the "half off" on one of our seven items. This didn't make sense or jive with the first employee's explanation, but we were running late and there was a line behind us. After driving for 10 minutes to the stadium, we discovered the cashier neglected to put the hat we purchased in the bag. When we returned to get the hat, I asked the cashier for a better explanation of the promotion since it appeared we missed out on the deal. He told us he could ring it up differently and we would receive added discounts, but he needed your approval. When you intervened, you took away the discounts the cashier offered. In hindsight, I should have left the items and asked for my money back. Please re-train your employees, so other families don't have the same experience.
