  • This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Whatever you do - do not get work done on your vehicle at this place. I went in to get a quote on an upgraded system and backup camera for my new (2 months old) truck and decided to go ahead with the install. 2 days later I went to drop off my truck and the very first thing that they did was tell me that the first guy I spoke with 2 days earlier did not explain everything to me correctly and it was actually going to cost me another $120. I still decided to go ahead with the install and was very excited about my new screen and new camera. I was told it would take about 4 hours and I got a call from them about 5.5 hours later. They told me that their techs did a good job with the install but that now my truck wouldn't start. They had to keep it overnight to re-trace all of their work to see what they could find. The next day I called to speak with the GM and he told me that they were still unable to find the issue. Little did I know that I would be without my truck for over a week while they had the Dodge dealer check it out and the dealer determined that it was an electrical short of my fuse box and that it was definitely caused by someone. I then went to Audio express to let them know that they needed to pay for the repair of my truck that was running perfectly when I dropped it off and all that they could say was...."well they can not prove that we did it". This place is a joke with inexperienced techs installing equipment in vehicles they have no business being in. Also - before they brought it to Dodge they pulled everything that they installed out of my truck so you can understand how angered I was to have to pay for a repair on my truck and still not get anything that I asked for. Audio express did end up paying for 1/2 of my bill but it still cost me $550 and a week without my vehicle. Beware because this place is all over ripoffreport.com also and you are better off going to the dealer or custom shop that has first hand experience with your type of vehicle.
